Sunday afternoon buffét/Söndag med smörgåsbord

Enjoy a pleasant afternoon cruise for the whole family on the Kinda Canal, featuring a classic Swedish Sunday meal. Our menu is based on the traditional Swedish smörgåsbord, updated with modern vegetarian dishes, meat, poultry, and more—including home-pickled herring, salmon, and Baltic herring specialties. The “Sunday Buffet” offers something for everyone, from cold cuts to main courses and desserts.

Sundays in August:
The cruise begins upstream, passing through the fantastic Tannefors locks—a three-step staircase with a total lift of ten meters. After navigating the winding canal, we pass through the magnificent Hackefors lock, lifting eight meters just before Hjulsbro, before M/S Kind returns downstream to Linköping.

Sundays in September:
Departure from Linköping’s Canal District/Tullbron. We cruise into central Linköping, turning before the ferry bridge, passing under Tullbron, and continuing past the SAAB Arena and Stångebro—an area rich with local history. The journey continues past Nykvarn, through the Nykvarn lock, and along the canal past the marina out to Lake Roxen. After enjoying the views of the open water, we head back through the Nykvarn lock to return to the Canal District.
